Jake Morrison
Road trip fanatic from Nashville. Drove across 40+ countries before landing in Nagano in 2019 and realizing Japan has the best road trip infrastructure on the planet. Smooth pavement, convenience stores every 20km, and scenery that changes every hour. Now he spends his time mapping routes that don't show up on Google.
Rina Sato
Born and raised in Nagano. Former receptionist at a family-run ryokan where she learned every local minshuku and guesthouse in the prefecture. Knows which owners cook the best breakfast, which ones have the cleanest baths, and which ones will stay up late drinking with you. She handles the stays. Jake handles the roads.
Why we do this
Group tours are fine if you like flag-waving guides and souvenir stops. We don't. Driving Japan alone (or with your people) is the move. You stop when you want, eat where locals eat, stay in places that don't have English websites. We make that possible without the weeks of research.

We're not a tour operator. We don't have buses, guides, or group departures. We don't book flights or sell packages. We're a planning service for independent travelers who want to drive Japan on their own terms. You handle the car, the gas, the playlist. We handle the plan.
